Lin Oeding was born on August 9, 1977 in Sacramento, California, USA. He is known for his work on The Equalizer (2014), Straight Outta Compton (2015) and Inception (2010).

Majored in Film Writing and Directing at the University of Texas at Austin (Graduated, May 2001) In 1989, was a semi-finalist at the Nintendo World Championship, and was considered one of the best 'Tetris' players in the country. Competed professionally on pay-per-view, in Bare-Knuckled fighting events. Former Member of Houston Stuntmen's Association Father Caucasion (German/Dutch), mother Taiwanese (Chinese). Has performed on screen fight scenes with Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale (Batman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Vin Diesel, Steven Segal, Jason Statham, Seth Rogen, Anne Hathaway, Ice-T, Jennifer Garner, Jason Momoa, Eliza Dushku, Ken Watanabe, Kurt Angle and many others. Lin practiced Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Kung Fu, but started training seriously at the age of 17. Later he trained in submission wrestling, Vale Tudo, Kickboxing and Free-Fighting. In the tournament circuit, after 19 fights, Lin holds a 16-1-2 record.
